Man accused of deliberately setting fire to Scarness house

A MAN accused of deliberately setting fire to a Scarness home earlier this year has been committed to the next sittings of the district court.

Terrance Neville McNamara appeared in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on Thursday where his charge of arson was handed up to the higher court.

He is accused of setting fire to the Oleander Ave home on February 15.

His bail was extended until the court appearance.
