Man arrested after stopping traffic on Boat Harbour Drive

A 23-YEAR-OLD Inglewood man has been charged with assault and wilful damage after he walked into traffic on Boat Harbour Drive near the corner of Nissen St in Pialba about 3.30pm on Friday.

Police at the scene said when traffic would stop to avoid hitting the man, he would allegedly hit the bonnet of the cars, causing damage.

The man was being assessed by Queensland Ambulance officers.

There was no traffic delay at the scene.
