Man remains in custody

A MARYBOROUGH man accused of breaking into a Granville home while the owners were sleeping fronted court yesterday.

The man allegedly entered the home about 12.45am yesterday and stole property from several rooms.

He was arrested and kept in custody overnight.

He faced the Maryborough Magistrates Court charged with stealing and entering a dwelling with intent.

His case was adjourned until today. He was remanded in custody overnight.
