Jack Frost's 1928 Ford Model A Coupe

WATCH: Jack selling 1928 Model A Ford for earlier version

JACK Frost waited for his kids to become financially independent before splurging out on his first vintage car at 73 years of age.

Now the Point Vernon engineering consultant is selling his precious 1928 Model A Ford automobile to upgrade to an earlier 1926 version.

While onlookers may be convinced the red vehicle is the real-deal, Mr Frost said it was an eight-year-old replica with 28,000km on the odometer.

But he thinks it will be an easy sell - there are more than 200 members in the Wide Bay Rodders club he knows of and many others in the region who share his passion for vintage cars, both original and new.
