Maryborough tops Hervey Bay for hottest November day

IT has been a hot start to summer on the Fraser Coast with maximum temps reaching the 30s, while November's hottest day tipped just over 30 degrees. 

The Bureau of Meteorology's latest November report has revealed Maryborough experienced the hottest day of the month on November 27 reaching 32.6 degrees, while the Bay was hit with it's hottest day on November 28.  

Hervey Bay recorded a slightly lower top temp of 30.8 degrees.  

In the Bay an average of 68.1mm of rain was recorded for November, while Maryborough experienced higher than normal rainfall for the month with 84.6mm.

Both cities reached around the 28 degree mark for the average maximum temps.
