A MARYBOROUGH woman spent a day with an array of celebrity chefs last week as part of the Brisbane Good Food and Wine Show.

Joy Fox spent last Friday arm in arm with famous chefs, including Ainsley Harriott, after her daughter won a highly coveted competition to the annual food show.

The vibrant celebrity chef took the stage energetically dancing around, Mrs Fox said.

"Ainsley was just as funny and happy in person as he is on television," she said.

"He danced across the stage, and even posed for photos and signed autographs."

Mrs Fox said she and her daughter Christine were also treated to a VIP dinner with other competition winners, which was prepared by the television chef himself.

"The whole show was great, we got to sample a lot of food and wine," she said.

"There were other celebrity chefs there as well, like Manu Feildel and Matt Moran.

"It was a really good time."
