M'boro Correctional Centre to get new graduates

NEW graduates of the Queensland Corrective Services academy will take up positions in Maryborough prison.

Community Safety Minister Jack Dempsey said 44 trainees graduated on Thursday and would be posted to four correctional centres including Maryborough.

He said the ceremony also recognised 11 officers for their years of service.
