Meet staff and ask questions at USQ information day

THE University of Southern Queensland's Fraser Coast campus will hold an information day on June 2.

From 10am to 1pm, the public can meet staff and ask questions.

Fraser Coast events co-ordinator Stephanie Bayley said visitors could tour the campus and speak to staff and lecturers one-on-one about courses, careers and study needs.

No bookings are necessary.

"They can discuss their options for beginning studies in semester two, as well as courses and programs available for entry in 2014 including USQ Fraser Coast's new flexible delivery programs - Associate Degree of Engineering and Associate Degree of Construction (Civil) - at a special session at noon," Ms Bayley said.

"Potential students can also discuss the entry requirements, how to apply, how to improve their tertiary eligibility, student support services, the USQ Tertiary Preparation Program and credit for previous TAFE studies for students who may not have the relevant qualifications already.

"Staff will be available to discuss pathways to postgraduate study for those without any formal qualifications but who have appropriate industry experience."

A career counsellor and student ambassador will be available.

For more information, phone 4194 3133 or visit the campus on Old Maryborough Rd in Pialba between 8.30am and 5pm weekdays.
