Missing man's car found at rest stop

THE CAR of missing Maryborough man Noel Allan Clark has been found at a rest stop in Landsborough, with police saying the vehicle appeared to have been there for “some time”.

After an appeal for information about Mr Clark members of the public have led police to his blue Ford Fairmont sedan, found at the Rustic Cabin rest stop on Steve Irwin Way.

The 33-year-old has been missing since May 25, when he was last seen at the former Centrelink office in Ellena Street, Maryborough.

Considering the amount of time Mr Clark has been missing and the fact his bank accounts have not been accessed, police now hold grave fears for his safety.

Mr Clark is described as 165cm tall, has dark brown hair, a medium build and fair complexion.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw Mr Clark or his vehicle before his disappearance.

Investigators from the North Coast Region criminal investigation branches and the Homicide Investigation Group have established a Major Incident Room at Gympie police station.

Anyone with information which could help police with their investigations can contact Gympie Police Station on 5482 2111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
