Mixed results for Maryborough karts drivers

GEORGIE Moller ran out of luck when she tangled with another sub junior driver at the Des Carberg Memorial Cup in North Brisbane.

Moller had nowhere to go when another kart spun in front of her. While she walked away with a few bruises, her kart won't hit the track again.

Maryborough Speedway's BRK/Benson karts drivers had a mixed weekend.

Jayden Hancock timed second fastest in the juniors and eventually finished fifth in his final.

Justin Draper secured the equal-best result of Fraser Coast drivers when he finished third in the juniors standard. Ashleigh Moller was fourth and Taneka Johnston was sixth.

Peter Draper finished fourth in the modified, while Blake Hancock was third in the standards final.

The country's best karts drivers will travel to Maryborough Speedway when the Tinana venue hosts the SKAA Karts Australian Championship on January 27.
