Mother gives birth to mustachioed twins in Coast zoo

The newest mustachioed monkeys bring the Zoo's ranks up to six and mark the third set of twins born this season at the Coast zoo.

Weighing about 30 grams each, the new members of the tamarin family were pretty shy today, and will be for about a week, Queensland Zoo's senior primate keeper Danielle Chinn said.

She said the duo will bury themselves in father Gomez' back for the next few days, before becoming more curious as to their surroundings.
