Motorcyclist injured in crash

A MOTOCYCLIST was rushed to the Hervey Bay Hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle smash on River Heads Road yesterday.

Emergency services were called out to the scene, about 1km south of the Booral Road turnoff, at 10.08am.

By the time crews arrived the driver of the car that allegedly caused the accident had left the scene.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with suspected broken bones.

Investigations continue.
