'Mouth-pubes' from Movember to be harvested and reused

THE best part of Movember -- aside from the fact it is saving lives -- is that moment on December 1 when all those wispy moustaches finally disappear from everyone's upper lip.

But the minds behind the nation's favourite month of growth have inspired a new hair-brained scheme to keep unsettling us with mo-hair long after November is over.

Movember has driven liquor label 42Below to create the worlds' first "doorstache".

Imagine a giant furry moustache sitting at the bottom of your door to stop the draft coming through. Now imaging that it is filled with 100% human moustache hair.

Hopefully your dog doesn't like to tear things open... because this thing is full of human moustaches.

Now once your stomach settles again, here's what we know.

42Below will begin crafting these hairy abominations on December 1 at "Mo Harvest Parties" in Brisbane, Sydney, Cairns and on the Gold Coast.

From the marketing team: "We're collecting all those dirty mouth pubes and turning them into 42Below doorstaches -- the world's first eco draft-stoppers filled with moustaches, which also look like moustaches" they wrote in a statement.

It's the kind of idea that could drive a reasonable person to drink. Luckily, it sounds like there'll be plenty to go around.
