PHOTOS | Multi million dollar Bechtel auction up for grabs

GOING once, going twice…gone!

If you missed out last time don't worry because it's time again for Hassalls "Bloke Heaven on Earth" mega auction.

Going under the Hassalls hammer this time around will be equipment from the Bechtel Curtis Island LNG Project and will include blokey items like toolboxes, spanners, shipping containers "chockfull" of wheelbarrows, shovels, fridges, utes, 4x4s, rock crushing rollers and crane levers.

Hassalls general manager Steve Wall said he was no longer surprised by the massive variety and quantity of equipment coming from Curtis Island.

"There are tens of millions of dollars worth of equipment up for grabs and we're expecting the gear to sell quickly," Mr Wall said.

"We're selling anything from everyday cars to massive mining truck, all at great value prices."

This sale will see Nissan Patrols, Micras and Navaras as well as Toyota Hilux's and Prados go up for sale.

"This is probably the closest thing to bloke-heaven on earth," Mr Wall said.

The auction will take place from 10am on Wednesday at Foster St, Gracemere.
