Last-minute tickets still availabe for NAIDOC ball

TWO weeks of celebration of indigenous culture will culminate on Friday night with the 2013 Fraser Coast NAIDOC Ball.

Organisers have reported strong ticket sales for the black-tie event, to be held at the Hervey Bay Boat Club.

Last-minute tickets are still available by phoning the Maryborough Aboriginal Corporation for Housing and Cultural Development on 4122 4382 or at the Hervey Bay PCYC.

Tickets are $25.

NAIDOC Week is held annually to celebrate the culture and contribution of indigenous community members.

The event was celebrated during two weeks on the Fraser Coast this year.
