New Palmer United Party candidate for Wide Bay

THE Palmer United Party's candidate for Wide Bay, Mike Tudman, has dropped his bid for the seat due to unforeseen family circumstances.

Taking his place as the PUP candidate will be Maryborough's Stephen Anderson, a foundation member of the local Sunrise Rotary Club.

"If elected I will work towards generating a resource base for Wide Bay, which will create wealth, prosperity and employment for the region and will also encourage more industry to the area," he said.

He said he would encourage industry and business to the electorate, minimise red tape and help provide incentives for industries and business.
