Oz Lotto hits $30m on Tuesday

YOU’VE got to be in it to win it and Tuesday’s $30 million Oz Lotto draw is definitely worth being in.

If you have aspirations to own a mansion on the Range or buy a $9 million plane, the trip down to your local newsagent might well be worth it.

Highfields News owners Shaun and Jody Brady scratched their heads when asked what they would do if they had a $30 million windfall.

“I wouldn’t know where to start, but I’d probably shut the doors to the newsagency,” Mrs Brady said with a laugh.

“People get pretty serious about these big draws and they get quite superstitious.

“Everyone has a story about a cancelled ticket, so I kept a few just to check if the numbers came out, but it never happened.”

Entries close on Tuesday at 6.30pm and the draw will take place at 8.30pm.
