More than 150 join in march of no confidence in govts

MORE than 150 residents walked Hervey Bay's Esplanade on Sunday for the Fraser Coast chapter of the March in March.

The event is a vote of no confidence in the state and federal governments.

Event organiser Miriam Johnson said it was grassroots organisations frustrated with government policies.

The march was a round trip from Enzo's to Torquay.

"I am a mother and I'm a mother of a child with a disability and I see disability funding being stripped - that's my main concern," Ms Johnson said.

It was one of 32 marches across Australia.
