No rest for Brittany

WHILE everyone else was kicking back and relaxing on their school holidays, Hervey Bay's Brittany Clark definitely had her work cut out for her.

The Hervey Bay Pony Club member travelled to Werribee in Victoria for the National Equestrian Interschool Championships, taking along her striking bay gelding, Diamond Star Jack, to compete.

Brittany competed in a strong group of 24 riders and was proud to come home with a 12th placing in dressage and 9th in combined training.

“It is a great achievement but it wouldn't have been possible without the help of my coaches, John Abbott and David Finch,” she told the Chronicle.

“They had great patience and support.”
