FOR the first time in more than two decades the NSW Blues have named an unchanged line-up for game two of the series.

The last time a Blues team remained unchanged was back in 1996 when it took the same 17 into all three games and won the series 3-0.

What Laurie Daley, who was part of that team along with Brad Fittler and Andrew Johns, would give to emulate that performance.

The mighty Blues are ready to strike again.

The Blues on Monday night confirmed their line-up for Origin II, with Boyd Cordner to lead the same team on to the field at ANZ Stadium on June 21.

Daley has named a 20-man squad with Tom Trbojevic joining Jack de Belin and Matt Moylan as his three extra reserves.

It was a vastly different story in Queensland with Kevin Walters wielding the axe and bringing in seven new faces, including Billy Slater and Coen Hess, in a desperate bid to salvage the series.
