O'Donnell's injury blow for Gulls
BREAKING: Not that their task was tough enough as it was, but the Hervey Bay Seagulls are now facing the prospect of playing their Bundaberg Rugby League grand final on Sunday against Brothers without four of their stars.
Hard-running back rower Robbie O'Donnell has been ruled out with a collarbone injury, while skipper Mitch Yarrow (shoulder), Tyrone Hopgood (ankle) and Tomas Quill (shoulder) are only a 50 per cent of playing.
Having been the Seagulls' most dangerous threat on the left side, O'Donnell's absence is a major blow to the Seagulls' premiership hopes.
The other three will be given until Saturday morning to prove their fitness.
Back to boost the Seagulls' line-up is the addition of halfback Clinton Horne, who has missed his team's past two finals due to illness.
Horne and Clancy Fallon are the two new names expected to be added to a large squad, which will be announced by coach Peter Regan tonight.
