ORGANISERS are looking forward to Hervey Bay's annual River to River Ride, hosted by the Fraser Coast Bicycle Users Group.

The event will kick off on June 8 with a 55km ride from Burrum Heads to Point Vernon.

Riders will meet at 8am at Lions Park in Burrum Heads.

The second event, which will be 45km, will be held on June 9 starting at Urangan's Pier Park at 8am.

Riders will then make their way to River Heads.

On Monday there will be a 20km historical ride around Maryborough, starting at 8am in Queens Park.

Organiser Jeff Parrott said people of all ages were welcome to join in the fun of the rides.

River to river ride

  • The ride is held over three days with three different events
  • A cycling adult must accompany children under the age of 16 and children under 12 must not pilot their own bike
  • Visit fcbug.org.au to sign up for the ride
