One last chance to show off skills

MARYBOROUGH and Howard have already hosted their Slick Moves Across the Fraser Coast competitions – and this weekend it will be Hervey Bay’s turn.

The skateboarding, scooter and bike competition is the last of the three events organised by the Fraser Coast Regional Council for the school holidays, giving young competitors one final chance to show off their skills.

The first event was held at Maryborough on November 22 while Howard held theirs on December 17.

After the great success of these events, organisers are hoping the Hervey Bay competition will be just as spectacular.

It will be held on January 16.

Hervey Bay’s event will be held at the Torquay Road skate park, with registration starting at 2pm.

The competition will kick off at 3pm.

The competition is open for all ages with participants able to enter two categories, 15 and under and Open.
