Opposition Leader Tony Abbott campaigns in Caboolture
CABOOLTURE Netball Association could be the big winner after the LNP campaign machine rolled into town today.
Opposition Leader Tony Abbott came to the club to promise $250,000 worth of funding if elected, as well as taking a jab at Prime Minister Kevin Rudd over his stance on voting preferences.
He challenged the Prime Minister to follow his lead of preferencing The Greens last and pledging not to form a minority government.
"Mr Rudd has refused to rule out doing deals over preferences; he's refused to rule out forming a minority government with The Greens," he said.
When asked about the possibility of neither party being able to form government without the help of the minor parties the Opposition Leader said people didn't want another three years like the last three.
Earlier today Mr Rudd told News Limited the challenge for both leaders was to deal with the parliament elected by the Australian people.
