Parking a car with For Sale sign on it

BE careful parking your vehicle with a For Sale sign and phone number on your back window.

I was fined at 2.15pm on Sunday afternoon by a Council Ranger for 'Positioning a vehicle for sale'.

The thing is I parked on Boat Harbour Drive in Piabla to shop for 1 1/2 hours.

I was legally parked and my vehicle is registered.

So basically if you put For Sale on you vehicle don't take it off your property.

I positioned my vehicle to shop. Have others experienced this penalty? I don't think this law has been very well publicised.
