Patient suffers 'significant' injury after bicycle crash

A PATIENT has suffered a 'significant' hip injury after a bicycle and car collided at Torquay.

The crash happened about 6.54am on Tuesday at the intersection of Bianca Court and Colyton St.

One patient was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital.

A spokesman from the Queensland Ambulance said the person had suffered a "significant" hip injury in the crash.

The person was transported in a stable condition.
