Pauline Hanson makes surprise visit to Hervey Bay

LESS than five days from election day, One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson will make another stop on the Fraser Coast today.

The Chronicle can reveal Senator Hanson will touch down in Hervey Bay about 1pm this afternoon before making her way to businesses along the Esplanade with her candidate Damian Huxham.

It will be the second time Senator Hanson has paid a visit to the Fraser Coast after visiting Maryborough aboard her Battlers Bus on November 6.

She spent the first week of the campaign visiting regional areas that included Gympie, Rockhampton and Mackay among others.

The latest Galaxy Poll for Hervey Bay revealed One Nation was polling at about 25 per cent, compared with 31 per cent for Labor and 38 per cent for the LNP.

An earlier poll put support for One Nation statewide at about 18%.
