Paw-fect cupcakes a real hit for RSPCA fundraisers

The RSPCA'S sweetest day of the year gives Aussies the chance to fight animal cruelty with cupcakes.

Monday, August 19, is a chance to whip up some delicious goodies and raise vital funds for Australia's furry friends.

Maryborough's Allikat's on Kent cafe have been selling their cupcakes for more than a week and said the treats were a huge hit.

Owner Alli Duggan said there had been heaps of interest and the cakes were so popular, she'd lost count of how many had sold.

"My cat came from the RSPCA, our animals were all rescue pets," she said.
