People line the streets for Hervey Bay Anzac Day parade

CROWDS of people, three and four deep in some places, lined the streets in Hervey Bay to pay their respects on Anzac Day.

They watched as marchers made their way to the newly renovated Freedom Park for the service.

Veterans sat in old war cars and were applauded as their made their way through the streets of Pialba.

A crowd of more than 1000 has packed into the park.
