Photobomber fooled AFP with a lolly wrapper

THE intruder who jumped on stage after Tony Abbott's election victory speech on Saturday night wore a fake security wristband made from a yellow lolly wrapper.

The man is believed to be 25-year-old anti-coal protester Fregmonto Stokes, a playwriting student from Melbourne.

He goes by the pseudonym Twiggy Palmcock and was also running a fake bid for the western Sydney seat of Greenway

He carried a red clipboard and smiled broadly as he loitered on the stage for about a minute, applauding Mr Abbott and shaking his hand.

No charges have yet been laid against the man, who police confirmed gained unauthorised entry to the invitation-only function.
