Police are wanting anonymous caller to come forward again

POLICE investigating the murder of Timothy John Pullen in Mackay are appealing for a person who phoned Crime Stoppers with specific information to again come forward.

On Monday July 22, a person called Crime Stoppers with information police believe is vital to the investigation.

"While we cannot provide any further information relating to the call due to the anonymous nature of Crime Stoppers, I can confirm the caller provided information we believe will prove beneficial to the investigation.

"We would ask they come forward once again and speak with us," Detective Senior Sergeant Rod Carroll, Officer in Charge, Mackay CIB said.

Timothy John Pullen was last seen in April 2012 in the Mackay area.

As part of Operation Kilo Lawman a 34-year-old Mooloolah man was charged with murder on July 19, a 38-year-old Tieri man was charged with accessory after the fact to murder on July 23 and a 22-year-old Forest Home man was charged with accessory after the fact to murder on July 24.

On July 31, a 31-year-old man was arrested in Sydney and extradited to Queensland charged with manslaughter.

A 26-year-old Mackay woman was also arrested in Darwin on the same day and extradited to Queensland charged with manslaughter.

Investigations are ongoing.
