Police need public help after play equipment set on fire

POLICE are asking the public for assistance after unknown offenders set fire to play equipment at Jack Mason Park in Geebung Court, Tinana.

The incident happened about 8:35pm on September 11.

Unknown offenders have used an  accelerant to cause the equipment to ignite.

Queensland Fire and Emergency services attended and extinguished the fire, however there was a significant amount of damage caused to the equipment. 

The shade shelter was melted and further damage was caused to the play equipment in the park.
