Police catch at least one drink-driver a day this month

POLICE have caught at least one drink-driver a day in the Maryborough Police District this month.

A spokeswoman said 16 people had been charged, including 10 in the past week, with readings three times the legal limit.

In April, police caught 50 people drink-driving.

"Please remember the fatal five - slow down, don't drive tired, always wear a seatbelt, don't drive distracted and don't drink and drive. You will be caught."
