Police catch two men driving over the 0.05 limit

A 45-YEAR-OLD man will appear in court after he was caught driving more than twice the blood alcohol limit.

The man was stopped on Pialba-Burrum Heads Road at Dundowran about 8.30pm Saturday with a blood alcohol content of more than 0.15%.

The man was charged with driving while under the influence of liquor.

He will appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court at a later date.

A Hervey Bay man will also appear in caught after being found with a blood alcohol reading of 0.131% on Boat Harbour Drive near Main St.

The 25-year-old was stopped by police on Friday night.
