Police charge driver for crash that killed Croftby man

Police have charged a woman following investigations into a fatal traffic crash in Washpool on April 8 of this year.

At around 7:30am a car travelling on Ipswich-Boonah Road collided with two other vehicles travelling on the other side of the road.

A 58-year-old Croftby man died as a result of the crash, with four women also transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital - three with serious injuries and the other with minor injuries.

A 22-year-old woman was yesterday charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death or grievous bodily harm.

She is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on September 20.
