Police investigate flooding at Bay resort

POLICE are investigating an incident at a resort in Hervey Bay after fire hydrants flooded a section of the business.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and police were called to Oceans Resort and Spa on the Esplanade about 9.40pm on Sunday.

A police spokeswoman said water from three fire hydrants caused part of the resort to flood.

Police are treating the investigation as wilful damage.
