Police kept busy with men causing disturbances in Hervey Bay

A MAN has been issued a fine after causing a ruckus in Scarness in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police were called to Charlton Esplanade just before 1am and found the 23-year-old causing a disturbance.

He was issued a fine for public nuisance.

Another two men, one aged 18 and another aged 38, were handed fines in Pialba late on Friday night.

Police were called to Old Maryborough Rd in Pialba at 11.20pm after receiving reports of a disturbance near the school.

There they found the two men and issued them with tickets for public nuisance.

And three men who allegedly made pests of themselves were arrested on Saturday morning near Rumaz nightclub.

A police spokesman said officers were called to the club at 3am and arrested the three men - aged 31, 36 and 38 - for public nuisance.
