Police pull up three over alcohol limit in Hervey Bay area

THREE men were charged with drink-driving in the Hervey Bay area during the weekend.

A 20-year-old man on his learner's permit was pulled over in Pialba about 3am on Saturday and police said he had a blood-alcohol content of .057%.

He was charged with drink-driving and with driving unaccompanied while on a learner's.

A 47-year-old man was also pulled over on Pialba-Burrum Heads Rd in Dundowran about 2.50pm on Saturday.

He had a blood-alcohol content of .063%.

The third, aged 43, was pulled over on Main St in Pialba about 4.45am on Saturday with a blood-alcohol content of .09%.
