Police raid lands two in hot water over drug lab

POLICE have raided an inner-city Brisbane unit and charged two people with drug offenses.

Police say that around 1.30pm, officers from Fortitude Valley Criminal Investigation Branch entered the Green Square Close unit and found a clandestine drug lab.

A 35-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, both from Fortitude Valley, have been charged with two counts each of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing relevant substances or things, possess utensils or pipes, and fail to properly dispose of syringe.

The pair are due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 11.
