Police say 31-year-old man caught hooning in Torquay

A BLOOD sample was taken from a 31-year-old man on Wednesday morning after police said he was caught hooning in Torquay streets in an unregistered car.

Sergeant Paul Byrne said the man did not have a licence and attempted to obstruct police when they stopped him about 12.15am.

The man did not record a blood alcohol reading but a blood sample was taken and sent for analysis.
