UPDATE, 11.30AM: A 59-YEAR-OLD man has been airlifted to Brisbane after the two-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning.

Kingaroy Police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Duane Frank said the driver of the Ford Falcon failed to give way turning out of Harris Rd.

UPDATE: 8.40AM: AN elderly man is in a serious condition following the two-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was taken to Kingaroy Hospital following the crash, but did not have details on his injuries.

EARLIER: POLICE are on the scene of a vehicle crash near Taabinga State School.

Officers are directing traffic near the crash, which occurred at the corner of Walter Rd and Harris Rd.

Injuries to any occupants of the vehicles are unknown at this stage.
