Missing schoolgirl found safe and well

UPDATE 1.45PM: Police have confirmed 12-year-old Sunshine Coast girl Iesha-Bella Taylor has been found safe and well.

The girl had been missing from her Caloundra home since Wednesday.

EARLIER: Sunshine Coast 12-year-old Iesha-Bella Taylor has now been missing for almost 48 hours after disappearing from her Caloundra home around midday on Wednesday.

The girl left a house on Osprey Street between 11.30pm and 12.30pm, and has not been seen since.

Since leaving the property, word of the search for Iesha-Bella was circulated by the Sunshine Coast Daily locally, then picked up by national media.

Police believe she is likely to still be in the area.

At this stage, police believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her going missing.

Police are calling for anyone who spots the 12-year-old to contact authorities so they can confirm her safety.

POLICE are appealing for public assistance to help find a 12-year-old girl reported missing from Caloundra yesterday.

Iesha-Bella Taylor left an Osprey Street address between 11.30am and 12.30pm, and hasn't been seen since.

She is described as being 160cm tall with a solid build, dark brown hair.

She was believed to be wearing a black singlet, a grey/white singlet, black leggings with holes above the knees, black shoes, with a tie-dyed handbag.
