Police security reminder after three thefts

HERVEY Bay police have issued a reminder to keep your possessions secure after three thefts in one day.

A police spokesman said a television, a PlayStation and a GPS navigation system were all stolen in the separate incidents.

The first occurred in Dundowran, where a car was broken into and the GPS stolen.

Then in Point Vernon, a house was broken into and the PlayStation and a number of video games were stolen.

Finally in Craignish, an unlocked house was entered and the TV and a mobile phone were stolen.

"This is a reminder for people to lock up their homes, and not to leave valuables on display in their cars," said the spokesman.
