Police seek assistance to find woman missing from Townsville

POLICE are seeking public assistance to help locate a 65-year-old Brisbane woman missing from Townsville.

Judith Stevens was last seen near the Townsville Hospital on Saturday night and was due to return to Brisbane on Sunday but has not made contact with family or friends since.

Police hold concerns for her welfare as she suffers from a medical condition and she may not have access to medication.

Ms Stevens has been known to travel from her Annerley address to Townsville by train.

She is described as being Caucasian, around 160cm tall with light brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone who may have seen Ms Stevens is urged to contact police immediately.
