Police seek help in murder case

POLICE have renewed calls for information about the murder of Maryborough man Noel Allan Clark, whose body has never been found.

Mr Clark was first reported missing in July 2009, two months after he was last seen in Maryborough.

Three people have been charged with his murder.

Dianna Gay Wright was on Monday sentenced in the Brisbane Supreme Court to nine months' jail for manslaughter and indecently interfering with a corpse.

The court heard she lured Mr Clark to her home, where the others allegedly beat him and left him to die.

She was then allegedly "orderd" by the pair to cut off his penis with a stanley knife.

"We are still appealing for assistance from the public regarding this matter.

"Police have charged three people regarding Mr Clark's death, however, his body has never been located," Detective Superintendent Brian Wilkins of the Homicide Investigation Group said.

"For the sake of the family, this is something we hope to achieve and information from the public will certainly bring us one step closer to this."

Anyone with information that could assist police with their investigations should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit crimestoppers.com.au
