Police warn drivers to take care after series of crashes

POLICE across the Fraser Coast attended a number of traffic crashes in the wet weather on Thursday.

In Maryborough, there was a three vehicle crash on the corner of Walker St and Jupiter St, and later a vehicle crashed into a fence at a home on the corner of Albert St and Tooley St.

In Hervey Bay, there were crashes on the corner on Moolyyir St and Pulgul St, and on Newhaven St.

A police spokesman said the crashes were a reminder for drivers to take extra care when behind the wheel in rainy conditions.
