Teen out of coma after his car hit a tree at Beelbi Creek

BEELBI Creek crash victim Michael Pickering is now breathing on his own and is moving both arms and left leg.

The 17-year-old was driving with his friend on November 29 when his car hit a tree.

He has spent the last month in a coma at the Royal Brisbane & Women's hospital.

His parents posted on his Facebook wall that he has started to open his eyes and look at them.
