HOW did Bay Power do it?
AFL pundits are still scratching their heads to work out how Power beat Hervey Bay Bombers to reach the AFL Wide Bay decider.
Were the Power too good? Did the Bombers bottle it?
Regardless of which way you look at it, Bay Power has earned the right to face The Waves in the grand final after they beat the Bombers by 27 points.
The Bombers' first half was near-perfect.
Not everything went their way but they held a comfortable 6.9-45 - 1.9-15 lead at half time.
Nobody bar the Bay Power's players know what happened during that break, but everything changed the moment they stepped back onto the field.
A five-goal second quarter brought Bombers' lead back to just four points, and from there the momentum stayed with the Power.
The Power kicked 77 points in the second half and restricted the Bombers to just 20 in the same time to nab an unlikely victory.
