Pugs pinched from Melbourne home

A PAIR of pugs have been pinched from a home in northwest Melbourne.

Charlie and Diesel were stolen from the front yard of their Carrick Drive, Gladstone Park home last week.

Investigators have been told the pugs were in a secure fenced-off location with the gates closed when they were found to be missing at 11.15am on 22 November.

The distraught owner told police he had been with his pugs 15 minutes before their disappearance.

Charlie has a fawn coat while Diesel is black in colour.

All checks with local pounds and lost dogs homes have returned no results.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have information about the missing show dogs.

Anyone with any information is urged to call Broadmeadows Police Station on 9302 8211.
