Hervey Bay RSL reno due to be fully completed by December

THE Hervey Bay RSL renovations are taking shape, with the club's lounge already complete.

"Everything is progressing as planned," a Hervey Bay RSL spokesman said.

"We're about to start the renovations on the RSL entry.

"The committee, management and staff want to thank all the members for their patience."

The spokesman said works had already been finished in the Anzac Lounge and it was now open to the public again.

The RSL's bistro, bar, bottle shop and foyer are all also being renovated.

He said the kitchen was expected to be finished by the end of August.

The complete renovations are expected to be finished and unveiled to the public by December 17.

Local company PBS Building is carrying out the work.
